I've known about this walk for most of my life but I was never bothered to walk it until today.
As you can see by the map, my mad eccentric boyfriend and I were walking parallel to the A1M. It's not quite a woodland walk (the woods were fenced off) but it was still very pleasant. It's amazing how much wildlife thrives from that side of the wall, whilst on the other side is a raging motorway.
I passed 2 woods, didn't even realise there were 2 woods there and I've learnt the names; Crow Wood and Beilby Wood.
Well they do say you learn something new everyday!
