Creativity in Knitting

Knitting for me, is one of those hobbies I'll never become tired of. In my opinion, it is a way of relaxing and it is a simple activity that can be done on an evening in front of the telly or whilst watching a film.

My steadily growing wool collection has come from a variety of places. Charity shops; when I see a colour I like. Leeds market; when I need certain colours for a project that's on the go. Or friends and family who buy it for me when it is my birthday!

Like the wool I was given for my birthday which I then turned into this hat and scarf set.

For some people, knitting is embarrassing and I can see why. It is normally a 'granny hobby' but in all honesty, I couldn't care less what people thought of me. If I enjoy knitting, then I will knit!

Anyway, if they pick on me for any reason, then I show them what I have made!
